92589 passenger cars were registered in January 2022
In January 2022, 92589 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 16.5% more than in the corresponding period of 2021. As of February 1, 2022, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3781.8 thousand units.1)
In January 2022, 843 road accidents were registered, in which 1310 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 1%.2)As of February 1, 2022 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 5968 insurance payments in the amount of 2.8 billion tenge.3)
