The industrial production index in January 2022 amounted 102,9%

An increase in production volumes was recorded in 11 regions of the republic, a noticeable increase was noted in the Atyrau region (116,2% by January 2021). At the same time, a decrease was recorded in Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan regions, cities of Almaty and Shymkent.

In January 2022, industrial products were produced in the amount of 3439,7 billion tenge, of which in the mining industry - by 1836,9 (53% of the total volume) billion tenge, in the manufacturing industry - by 1338,8 (39%) billion tenge.

Compared to January 2021, there is an increase in crude oil and natural gas production (112,6%), beverage production (124%), tobacco products (118,7%), rubber and plastic products (111,4%), pharmaceutical (113,1%) and other non-metallic mineral products (101,9%). The production of light products (84,1%), chemical (86,6%) and metallurgical industry decreased (96,8%).
