799152 passenger cars were registered in January-December 2021

In January-December 2021, 799152 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 4.6% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of January 1, 2022, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3798.1 thousand units.¹⁾

In January-December 2021, 13940 road accidents were registered, in which 20366 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 3.1%.²⁾

As of January 1, 2022 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 82109 insurance payments in the amount of 37.9 billion tenge.³⁾
