671291 passenger cars were registered in January-October 2021
In January-Оctober 2021, 671291 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 3.2% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of November 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3795.2 thousand units.1)
In January-Оctober 2021, 10912 road accidents were registered, in which 15995 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 4.8%.2)
As of November 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 67037 insurance payments in the amount of 30.4 billion tenge.3)
