610120 passenger cars were registered in January-September 2021

In January-September 2021, 610120 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 8.6% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of October 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3824.2 thousand units.¹⁾

In January-September 2021, 9422 road accidents were registered, in which 13844 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 10.2%.²⁾

As of October 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 60482 insurance payments in the amount of 27.2 billion tenge.³⁾
