577478 passenger cars were registered in January-August 2021
In January-August 2021, 577478 passenger cars were registeredin the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 21.6% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of September 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger carsin the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3842.7thousand units.1)
In January-August 2021, 8307 road accidents were registered, in which 12205 people were injured.
In comparison with the correspondingperiod last year, the accident rate increasedby 10.2%.2)
As of September 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 53864 insurance payments in the amount of 24 billion tenge.3)
