504027 passenger cars were registered in January-July 2021
In January-July 2021, 504027 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 21.8% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of August 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3833,3 thousand units.1)
In January-July 2021, 7180 road accidents were registered, in which 10550 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate increased by 14,5%.2)
As of August 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 48104 insurance payments in the amount of 21,3 billion tenge.3)
