IN JANUARY-APRIL OF 2019 308 794 CARS WERE REGISTERED

In January-April 2019, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, 308794 passenger cars were registered or by 14,2% more than the corresponding period of the previous year. As of May 1, 2019 in the Republic of Kazakhstan the number of registered passenger cars amounted 3942,1 thousand units.1)

During January-April of current year 4242 road-transportation incidents were registered, in which 6237 people suffered. In comparison with the corresponding period of previous year road accident decreased by 1,1%.2)

As of May 1, 2019 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 25610 insurance payments in the amount of 9,7 billion tenge.3)
