224421 passenger cars were registered in January-March 2021

In January-March 2021, 224421 passenger cars were registeredin the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 3,5% more than in the corresponding period of 2020.As of April 1, 2021,the number of registered passenger carsin the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3849,9 thousand units.¹⁾

In January-March 2021, 2621 road accidents were registered, in which 3968 people were injured. In comparison with the correspondingperiod last year, the accident rate decreasedby 4,3%.²⁾

As of April 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 19627 insurance payments in the amount of 8,8 billion tenge.³⁾
