154089 passenger cars were registered in January-February 2021

In January-February 2021, 154089 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is 2.8% more than in the corresponding period of 2020. As of March 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3853,3 thousand units.¹⁾

In January-February 2021, 1768 road accidents were registered, in which 2657 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate decreasedby 6,6%.²⁾

As of March 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 12968 insurance payments in the amount of 5,7 billion tenge.³⁾
