763 802 passenger cars were registered in January-December 2020
In January-December 2020, 763802 passenger cars were registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is less by 12,3% less over the corresponding period of 2019. As of January 1, 2021, the number of registered passenger cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 3870,3 thousand units.1)
In January-December 2020, 13515 road accidents were registered, in which 19841 people were injured.
In comparison with the corresponding period last year, the accident rate decreasedby 18,7%.2)
As of January 1, 2021 insurance companies with the compulsory insurance of civil-entitled responsibility of transport owners implemented 69386 insurance payments in the amount of 29,3 billion tenge.3)
