Change in prices of export deliveries and import receipts in 2020
For eight months of the current year (August 2020 to December 2019), prices for exported goods decreased by 11.6%, imported – increased by 2.2%.

In August 2020 compared to the previous month, export prices increased for oil by 10.1%, copper – by 9.7%, zinc – by 9%, lead – by 6%, zinc ores – by 4.4%, ferroalloys – by 0.8%. Barley prices increased by 1.8%, wheat – by 1.1%.
Of the imported products, vegetables has risen in price by 6.1%, fruits and nuts – by 4.6%, sugar – by 1.6%, poultry meat – by 1.5%, fish – by 1%, rice fell by 9.4%, vegetable oil – by 5.9%, tobacco – by 3.2%, coffee – by 2.5%, sausage products – by 1.4%, pasta – by 1.3%, tea – by 0,3%. Prices for leather raw materials become higher 3%, shoes, paper – by 2.7%, machinery, equipment and vehicles – by 0.7%, pharmaceutical products become lower 6.9%, wood – by 1.1%, construction materials – by 0.2%.
To calculate price indices. the primary statistical data of national statistical price monitoring are used for a sample of enterprises of exporters. importers and selected types of products (Form 1-C (export. import). national statistical observation of mutual trade in goods with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union ( Form 1-TS) and customs statistics data. The weighting scheme used to aggregate price indices is calculated based on data on the value of foreign trade of turnover in a given year. expressed in tenge.
