Finance Minister Madi Takiyev visited NKR

As part of his working visit to North Kazakhstan region, Finance Minister Madi Takiyev held a number of meetings and familiarized himself with the implementation of key projects in the region.

The Minister held a meeting on the construction of engineering and communications infrastructure in the territory of the Kyzylzhar special economic zone. At the meeting, reports were heard from the heads of contractors for the construction of engineering networks. Domestic and foreign investors spoke about the progress of construction of new production facilities in the SEZ.

Currently, projects are being implemented in subzone No. 3 to build a bakery plant, a tractor and agricultural machinery plant, a lifting and transport equipment and overhead crane plant, a mushroom farm, and a compost plant.

"In total, 16 promising investment projects worth a total of 105 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in the third subzone, attracting capital from Italy, China, Russia and Germany. Within the framework of these projects, 1.7 thousand new jobs will be created," wrote the head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov on social networks. Madi Takiyev also got acquainted with the progress of construction of the Multidisciplinary Regional Hospital, which is being built by the YDA Group company. This will be the first high-level hospital in the region that meets international standards. The opening of an important social facility will become the basis for the introduction of modern technologies, improving the availability and quality of medical services in the region.
