Italian investors to build a fodder yeast plant in NKR

Today, North Kazakhstan region Akim Gauez Nurmukhambetov held a meeting with Prosol Spa Chairman of the Board of Directors Adalberto Villa and Executive Director Daniele Bonvicini. Our Italian partners are implementing an important investment project in the territory of the Qyzyljar SEZ — the construction of a fodder yeast plant.

"I thanked the investors for their trust and contribution to the development of the region. For our part, we will provide comprehensive support for the project. Northern Kazakhstan is open for productive partnership!", — the head of the region wrote on social networks.

The fodder yeast produced at the plant will help increase the productivity of farm animals. This is important, given the active development of dairy and beef farming in the region. 3 billion tenge will be invested in the project. The launch of the new enterprise is scheduled for 2026. The enterprise will ensure the production of 3,000 tons of feed yeast per year and create 40 new jobs for North Kazakhstan residents.
