Exactly 80 years ago, the whole world celebrated the Victory in the most tragic and bloody war in the history of mankind. Years pass, but the memory of those harsh times remains in our hearts.
Today, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, together with home front veterans, representatives of the public and North Kazakhstan residents, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and the Stele in Victory Park — as a sign of deep gratitude and respect for the feat of the heroes.
Victory Day is an eternal symbol of the unbending will and heroism of Kazakhstanis. Today we bow our heads to the older generation, who gave us peace and freedom. Sincere respect and endless gratitude to the veterans of the war and the home front for their feat. "The cruel years of war affected the fate of every family in our country and region. We honor the memory of soldiers who remained forever young, who gave their lives for freedom and peace. Their feat is forever in our hearts. It is the duty of everyone to remember the significance of this Victory and pass on its lessons to descendants. Happy Victory Day!" the head of the region wrote on social networks.
