Defender of the Fatherland Day was celebrated in NKR

Today, on Defender of the Fatherland Day, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Karasay and Agyntay batyrs was held as a sign of respect for the feat of their ancestors.

Then the participants watched the online broadcast of the military parade from Astana together. During the ceremonial part, certificates of honor and letters of gratitude from the akim of North Kazakhstan region were presented to representatives of the civil sector, military personnel who showed themselves during the floods, employees of law enforcement agencies, as well as mothers of soldiers doing their military service.

The festive day ended with the concert "Batyrlyk rukhy – Mangilik", which featured the military orchestra of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the vocal group of the cultural center of the police department, drummers of the Kyzylzhar district and creative groups of the region. The celebration became a bright expression of gratitude to all who stand guard over peace and tranquility.
