Akim of the NKR visited the village of Bolshaya Malyshka

In the villages of Olshanka, Bolshaya Malyshka, Vagulino, Barnevka and Sokolovka in the Kyzylzhar district, located downstream from the Petropavl reservoir along the Yesil River, the third wave of flooding is currently being observed.

In the village of Bolshaya Malyshka, work is being carried out to strengthen the protective embankment to protect the settlement; the work was inspected by Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov. At the moment, flooding of houses has not been allowed, evacuation has been carried out. About 500 people and 67 units of equipment are involved. Fortification work is also being carried out in Olshanka, Vagulino and Sokolovka.

All services are working in an enhanced mode to ensure the safety of residents and minimize the consequences of the flood.
