Republican campaign: 118 thousand trees will be planted in NKR

As part of "Taza Kazakstan", from April 21 to 26, the region is holding an environmental campaign "All-Kazakhstan Tree Planting Day". Today, in Victory Park, the akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, together with veterans, deputies, young people, representatives of the public and the assembly, took part in the tree planting campaign. It is symbolic that this campaign is taking place on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.

All districts of the region supported the green initiative - a total of 42 thousand seedlings were planted today in populated areas and in the forest zone. In total, 118 thousand trees will be planted in the region during the republican campaign.

"Preservation and increase of the forest fund is our common task. This is an important contribution to improving the environmental situation and creating a comfortable living environment for future generations," the head of the region wrote on social networks.
