A seminar on Information Security was held

On April 17, 2025, a training seminar on the topic of "Raising awareness in the field of information security" was held in the building of the Qyzyljar Creative Center https://2gis.kz/petropavlovsk/firm/70000001083425110. The organizer was the office of the regional akim with the support of JSC ASTEL.

Azamat Baytimirov, head of the digital technologies department of the North Kazakhstan region akimat, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. As part of the event, employees of the National Security Committee department made presentations on topical issues of ensuring cybersecurity.

The educational part of the program was conducted by representatives of the Operational Information Security Center (OISC) of JSC ASTEL. As part of the presentations, modern threats to information security, social engineering methods, practical measures to protect information were considered, and the company's own products and solutions in the field of information security for public and private organizations were presented. The seminar was attended by representatives of government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare, and city enterprises. The event is aimed at improving digital literacy and strengthening measures to ensure information security in regional organizations.
