North Kazakhstanis awarded jubilee medals in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly

Today, an extended meeting of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the North Kazakhstan region was held with the participation of the head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov. At the meeting, together with the heads of ethnocultural associations and representatives of the public, the results of the regional APK's activities were summed up and a plan dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was discussed.

"The region needs to hold anniversary events at a high organizational and substantive level. The main focus is on popularizing the role of the APK as a unique institution that strengthens friendship and harmony between ethnic groups. The region plans to hold 36 multi-format events with the participation of all ethnocultural associations," the akim of the North Kazakhstan region noted.

During the meeting, a new public deputy chairman of the Assembly from ethnocultural associations was elected. He was Rashbil Yevdayev, who replaced Alexey Khan in this post.

A solemn award ceremony was also held. In accordance with the Decree of the Head of State, representatives of the public who made a significant contribution to strengthening public harmony and unity of the people of Kazakhstan were awarded jubilee medals in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
