Sugar production to be established in NKR

This was announced at a meeting of the akimat. Head of Asyl Farms LLP Gabiden Balgynbekov said that the company intends to develop a new direction - growing sugar beets and producing sugar. The sugar factory will be built in the Shal Akyn area.

"Implementation of the project will allow processing up to 5 thousand tons of sugar beets per day. We plan to grow half of the raw materials in our fields, and purchase the rest from neighboring farmers," Gabiden Balgynbekov noted.

Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov supported the project, emphasizing that its implementation will not only provide the domestic market with sugar, but also reduce dependence on imported products. The state will provide all necessary support in the implementation of this project.

In addition, Asyl Farms LLP has other promising projects. In particular, it is planned to build an oil extraction plant, a compound feed production enterprise, and create an automated elevator.
