Akim of the NKR met with residents of Timiryazev district

Today, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov visited Timiryazev district, where he inspected the preparedness for the flood period, got acquainted with the progress of major repairs of the district hospital, visited a new medical center in the village of Akzhan, the livestock complex of the Atameken agro Timiryazevo LLP and the trading house of IE "Amirkin".

As part of the Nauryznama, the head of the region celebrated "Renewal Day" together with residents of the village of Stepnoye. The celebration took place in the cultural and health center built as part of the "Auyl — Yel Besigi" program. Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated the villagers on the Nauryz holiday, wishing them happiness and prosperity.

This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory. The Akim of the region visited home front worker Yekaterina Chmeruk. When the war began, she was only 7 years old, and like other children, she worked in the fields. Her father went to the front, and she and her mother lived through difficult years. After the war, Yekaterina Davydovna worked at construction sites, and raised three children with her husband. This year, she celebrates her 90th birthday. Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated the home front veteran on her anniversary and expressed gratitude for her selfless work and contribution to our peaceful future. In addition, the regional akim visited the agrotechnical college, where, as part of the Year of Working Professions initiated by the Head of State, special attention is paid to the training of qualified specialists. Today, 139 students are studying at the college under a state order in the specialties of machine operator, cook and welder. The immediate plans include increasing the number of students and opening an additional specialty of baker-pastry chef. The akim of the North Kazakhstan region met with labor veterans who dedicated their lives to working professions. Their work and dedication to the cause are an example to follow, they are heroes of our country. At the end of the trip, the head of the region held a meeting with residents of the Timiryazev district, where they discussed the results of the work and plans for the further development of the district. This year, major repairs of access and intra-village roads to the village of Moskvoretskoye are planned, as well as asphalting of streets in Dmitrievka. Major repairs will be carried out at the Timiryazevskaya comprehensive school-gymnasium and the district hospital. In addition, reconstruction of distribution networks in Michurino and construction of distribution networks and water towers in Timiryazevo are expected. The construction of water towers and pumping stations in nine villages of the district will be completed.
