An exhibition dedicated to kimeshek was held on the occasion of National Clothing Day

Today, National Clothing Day was celebrated as part of Nauryznama. At the recent session of the National Kurultai, the President emphasized that national clothing is an important manifestation of our unique national identity and that we must promote it in every possible way.

On this day, an exhibition entitled "Kiyeli Kimeshek" was held at the regional museum of local history. The exhibition was visited by the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, veterans and young people.

The exhibition presented the works of Tilek Sultan, an ethno-designer, a member of the Union of Craftsmen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a holder of the UNESCO Quality Mark. The master's unique works reflected the rich palette of traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.

"Kimeshek is not just a traditional headdress worn by women, it is a sacred element of Kazakh culture and a symbol of motherhood. Each product preserves centuries-old history and conveys the culture and traditions of our people. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition for their special contribution to the promotion of Kazakh culture. This creativity will preserve the rich heritage of our people and pass it on to future generations," the head of the region wrote on social media.
