The Nauryz holiday was celebrated in a multinational school in the NKR

As part of the "Nauryznama" calendar, one of the days was dedicated to culture and national traditions. It is no coincidence that the holiday was celebrated in the secondary school-complex of national revival No. 17 in Petropavl. This unique educational institution has no analogues in Kazakhstan. The celebration was attended by the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov.

Here, general education classes are combined with national departments, there are 10 of them. The school is like a mini-state, where residents of different nationalities celebrate the common holiday of Nauryz. The children showed an ethno-village with the participation of ethno-cultural associations, a fair of national dishes, as well as an exhibition of handicrafts and sports games.

"Nauryz united teachers, students and guests in an atmosphere of friendship and unity, becoming a symbol of respect for the rich cultural heritage of peoples. At the end of the holiday, I thanked the participants for preserving national traditions and languages, for their special attention to the traditions of our people," the head of the region wrote on social networks.
