Akim of the NKR congratulated a veteran on his 103rd birthday

Today, the Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated war veteran Valentina Arkhipovna Volkodav on her birthday. She turned 103 years old, she is a real living history. Valentina Arkhipovna went to the front at the age of 19, served in a bridge-building detachment on the Belorussian and Ukrainian fronts, where she built bridges and provided crossings. She went all the way from the Volga to Berlin, was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War of the 2nd degree and medals.

After the war, Valentina Arkhipovna worked for the good of the country, worked as an accountant at a ceramic factory in Tselinograd, and has lived in Petropavl for more than 30 years.

"I wished our veteran good health, well-being, care and many years surrounded by loved ones," the head of the region wrote on social networks.
