Honorary citizen of the North Kazakhstan region Zhaksylyk Iskakov passed away

Today Zhaksylyk Gabdullinovich Iskakov, a statesman and public figure, honorary citizen of the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions, passed away.

"He dedicated his life to the development of agriculture, strengthening statehood and the prosperity of his native land. I express my sincere condolences to his family and friends," the head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov wrote on social networks.

From a young age, he chose the path of serving the people. Having started his career as an agronomist, he came a long and worthy way to leadership positions in the regions. Zhaksylyk Gabdullinovich held responsible positions, headed district party bodies, was the first deputy chairman of the North Kazakhstan regional executive committee and the chairman of the Pavlodar regional executive committee. He was twice elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council, participated in making fateful decisions aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens. Over the years of his activity, he has established himself as a wise, fair and principled leader who always put the interests of the people above all else. His services to the country and society were marked by high awards. Even after retiring, he did not stop active public activities, was a member of the regional council of veterans, shared his invaluable experience with the younger generation. Zhaksylyk Gabdullinovich will forever remain in memory as a person who dedicated his life to serving people, a leader who was respected for his honesty, responsibility and loyalty to his work. We cherish the memory of him!
