The akim of NKR Kumar Aksakalov inspected a new school for 900 seats in the developing microdistrict Zhas-Orken.
The number of first-graders in the region is growing every year. In 2018, 7.7 thousand children went to the first grade, last year already 8.5 thousand. About 9 thousand children are expected this year.
Several schools are under construction in North Kazakhstan region. Last year, a modern school was commissioned in Bereke microdistrict. By the end of the year, one more school will be opened at Ualikhanov Street in Petropavlovsk. In the new academic year, schoolchildren from the village of Beskol will also study in a new and spacious school. By opening new schools, local authorities are solving the problem of three-shift education.
«School No. 6 has moved to a new school in Zhas-Orken microdistrict. Schoolchildren studied in cramped conditions. The old adapted building was built in 1937. The capacity of the school was only 200 seats, and actually 600 children studied. It was necessary to solve this problem. Two years ago, we decided to build a new school. Today, the school for 900 seats is ready to accept children. As the director of the school says, over 900 children have already been enlisted», — Kumar Aksakalov said.
On this day, the head of the region tested the new equipment in colleges. Within the framework of the «Zhas Maman» project, for the first time in many years, 1.2 billion tenge was allocated for the purchase of modern high-tech equipment for 4 colleges in the region.
The Higher College named after M. Zhumabayev has received new generation multimedia classrooms, 3D modeling, web design and robotics. A workshop for diagnostics and repair of vehicles was created in the North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College. Also, a laboratory for the examination of building materials was created at the Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College, and a forklift was purchased. Modern machine tools were purchased at the Engineering College.
“The world is changing very quickly now. Technology is also far ahead. This year, 4 colleges received the most modern equipment for teaching our students. These are classrooms for 3D modeling, robotics, web design. Excellent equipment in the machine diagnostics workshop. There is no such equipment even in service stations. Modern equipment allows us to teach our students taking into account new trends in the world of technology. Our personnel will be in demand in the modern world,” — the head of the region noted.
Next year, the implementation of the “Zhas Maman” project will continue. 5 colleges in the region will be provided with 1.5 billion tenge to update the material and technical base.
