Under the leadership of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, an extended meeting of the regional akimat was held, during which the results of the socio-economic development of the region for 2024 were summed up and key areas for 2025 were identified within the framework of the instructions of the Head of State voiced in the Address.
The year 2024 was not easy for the region: a severe flood had a serious impact on the development of the region. All efforts were aimed at restoring infrastructure and providing assistance to victims. As a result, 700 new houses were built in the new microdistrict "Birlik" and 1,394 apartments were purchased.
Despite the difficulties, by the end of the year, the economy of the North Kazakhstan region grew by 120%. Thus, the President's instruction to achieve 6% economic growth was fulfilled. All major sectors of the economy showed positive dynamics.
Plant growing demonstrated particularly high results, where growth was almost 50%, and the volume of gross output reached 749 billion tenge. This became possible due to the large harvest that North Kazakhstan farmers collected.
