The topic of road repair became the main agenda of the akimat meeting chaired by Kumar Aksakalov.
In 2020, 1.5 times more funds have been allocated for the repair and construction of roads in the region than in 2017. This amount allows to put about 1000 kilometers of road in order. This is more than 11% of the regional road network.
Thus, the work begun 4 years ago at the Bulayevo-Sovetskoye section will be completed this year. 2 billion tenge was spent on this segment.
The financing of repairs inside the village roads has increased. Two years ago, works were carried out only in 6 villages. This year, 74 projects are being implemented.
The akim of the region called for tightening control over contractors, more vigilant to monitor the fulfillment of obligations for construction. And those companies that previously showed themselves in bad faith should no longer work on the territory of the North Kazakhstan region.
“For the period up to winter, it is necessary to tighten control over heavy trucks on the roads. They destroy transport arteries. It makes no sense to build a new canvas if it is broken right away. Now, during harvesting, farmers should not overload their cars, the same goes for their buyers. District akims should monitor this. In the villages, it is also necessary to install special arches that will prevent the passage of carts and other equipment," — Kumar Aksakalov said.
