Appointment

By order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant Colonel Asset Amirovich Baimakhanov was appointed commander of the territorial defense brigade in the North Kazakhstan region.

Asset Amirovich graduated from the Military Institute of the Ground Forces in 2007 and the National Defense University in 2020. Over the years, he served in various officer positions from platoon commander to deputy commander in military units.

Prior to this appointment, he held the position of deputy brigade commander for combat training in a military unit in Almaty.
