Construction of overpass in Petropavl will be completed this year

Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov checked the progress of construction of a new automobile overpass across the railway tracks along Universalnaya Street in the Rabochiy settlement. This is one of the key infrastructure facilities necessary to improve the city's transport accessibility and the convenience of residents. The implementation of the project will not only relieve the existing overpass, but also provide an alternative entry into the north-eastern part of the city.

At the construction site, the head of the region heard a report on the work performed, discussed current tasks with the contractor and focused on strict adherence to deadlines and high quality standards. The commissioning of the new facility is scheduled for this year. Bridge construction continues even in winter. The installation of the superstructure beams is underway. It is also planned to install asphalt-concrete pavement, access roads, a pedestrian sidewalk and stairs for the convenience of city residents.
