Akim of NKR congratulated power engineers on their professional holiday

Today, at a ceremonial meeting, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated workers of the power industry on their professional holiday and presented state awards on behalf of the President.

This year has also been a serious test for power engineers. During a severe flood, having shown courage and dedication, they ensured the uninterrupted operation of the region's power system and restored the damaged infrastructure. Emergency crews quickly eliminated the consequences of bad weather, when hundreds of villages were left without electricity in November last year.

Now, the enterprises "Sevkazenergo" and "Kokshetau energo" provide the region with stable electricity and heat supply, actively updating equipment. The construction of a new chimney at CHPP-2 has been completed, which will be commissioned in the next heating season. Projects to modernize power grids in villages are being implemented jointly, which helps to increase the reliability of power supply. "I am confident that these efforts open up new horizons for the development of the energy sector, strengthen its potential and benefit every resident of our region. I congratulate all energy workers on their professional holiday!" the head of the region noted.
