Akim of NKR met with entrepreneurs

Today, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with the business community of the region at the site of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Such events traditionally take place in the format of an open dialogue, where current issues of business development and support for small and medium-sized businesses are discussed. The question-and-answer format allows for constructive interaction between government agencies and businesses.

During the meeting, entrepreneurs raised a wide range of issues, including product exports, public transport development, rate subsidies, tourism support, school meals, and other topics.

"All the issues raised have been taken into consideration. We will continue to actively support business initiatives aimed at developing the region's economy," the head of the region wrote on social networks.

Financial assistance was provided to business entities that suffered during the severe flooding. 107 applications from SMEs for 3.3 billion tenge were accepted.

Mechanisms of state support for entrepreneurs are operating successfully. Such measures as subsidies, guarantees, grant financing and infrastructure creation are envisaged. 267 billion tenge have been allocated for these purposes in the region. The effectiveness of these measures is confirmed by statistics: the number of active SMEs has grown to 35.9 thousand, an increase of 1.7%, the volume of production reached 476 billion tenge.
