Akim of NKR held meeting with Ambassador of Lithuania

Today, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with the Ambassador of Lithuania to Kazakhstan Egidijus Navikas. Lithuania is an important trade and economic partner of the region, significant growth of cooperation is recorded: over the first 9 months of this year, foreign trade turnover increased by 19% and amounted to 1.7 million US dollars.

"We discussed the prospects for expanding partnership and attracting Lithuanian investors. I am confident that the opening of the honorary consulate of Lithuania in our region will be a powerful incentive for strengthening business and friendly ties between our countries," the head of the region wrote on social networks.
