Environmental conversation "Protecting nature is a priceless gift" was held in Petropavl

On November 12, a dialogue-conversation "Protecting nature is a priceless gift" on the topic "Problems of ecology and solutions" was held in the Gabit Musirepov library in Petropavl. The event was held within the framework of the environmental program "Taza Kazakstan" initiated by the Head of State, and brought together college students, volunteers, representatives of the Department of Ecology of the North Kazakhstan region and the Youth Resource Center.

The dialogue was aimed at attracting the attention of young people to environmental issues, fostering responsibility for nature and supporting the sustainable development of Kazakhstan. The speakers were Igor Gokh, Chief Specialist of the State Environmental Control Department of the Department of Ecology of the North Kazakhstan region, and Nurkhan Zhanaim, Lecturer of the Department of Ecology of the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University. They shared with the participants the latest data on the state of the environment in the region and possible measures that everyone can take to preserve natural resources. "Every person is responsible for the state of the ecosystem, especially in the era of climate change and increased pressure on natural resources. I also believe in the need to involve young people in environmental initiatives that could help change society's attitude to natural resources and their use," Igor Gokh said.

Nurkhan Zhanaim spoke about the importance of environmental education, emphasizing that the formation of an environmental culture from an early age can play a key role in protecting the environment. As practical steps, he suggested that young people actively participate in various environmental campaigns, volunteer projects and initiatives aimed at improving urban and natural areas.

The Taza Kazakstan program aims not only to improve the environmental situation in the country, but also to form an environmentally conscious society ready for practical steps to solve environmental problems. An important part of this work is the educational aspect - such dialogue meetings as the past conversation become a platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas, developing responsibility and active participation of young people in environmental projects.

The event became a vivid example of how young people can become an important part of the environmental movement in Kazakhstan. Students participating in the conversation emphasized their readiness for new projects and initiatives aimed at environmental protection.
