Delegation of Omsk region visited NKR

Today, the official delegation of Omsk region headed by Governor Vitaliy Pavlovich Khotsenko paid a return visit to our region. During the meeting with the participation of Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and Governor of Omsk region Vitaliy Khotsenko, issues on further strengthening of interregional cooperation between our regions were discussed, proposals for developing partnership were voiced. Next year, mutual presentations of the investment potential of the two regions are planned.

It should be noted that the volume of mutual trade between the regions is growing annually. Over the past three years, trade turnover between North Kazakhstan region and the Russian Federation has increased by 1.5 times and reached 624 million dollars. The potential for cooperation between the border regions is enormous and will be developed in all directions.

In order to further strengthen cooperation and develop business ties, memorandums were signed between the Qyzyljar SEZ and DiborExport LLC, as well as between the Investor Service Center and ZMK MOST LLC. Within the framework of the signed documents, it is planned to implement the project "assembly of agricultural machinery" on the territory of the Qyzyljar SEZ and "production of metal structures for the construction of large infrastructure facilities". After the meeting, Gauez Nurmukhambetov and Vitaliy Khotsenko laid flowers at the monument to Abay and Pushkin, talked with representatives of the ethnocultural associations of the regional Assembly. Also during the visit, the delegation of the Omsk Region visited industrial enterprises, educational, sports and cultural facilities.
