Special school and dormitory for students were opened in Petropavl

Today, a special boarding school was opened in "Bereke" and a new dormitory for 1.2 thousand places for students of the local university. Guests of the opening ceremony were the akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, vice-speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olga Perepechina, veterans, youth and the public.

The new special school creates equal opportunities for children with special educational needs. It should be noted that in the old building of the special school there was a shortage of places, the new building solved this issue and increased the coverage of children. The educational building is designed for 300 places, there is also a boarding school for 50 places. Currently, 220 children study here.

The school is equipped with a speech therapist's office, a defectologist's office, speech and communication development, rhythm, sensorics and therapeutic physical education. Students also receive basic professional skills: sewing and carpentry, beekeeping and landscaping.

The head of the region congratulated the teaching staff on the opening of an important facility and handed over the keys to a minibus for transporting children.

On the same day, a new dormitory for 1.2 thousand places for students of the local university was opened in Petropavl. The akim of the region congratulated the students on their housewarming and familiarized himself with the living conditions in the new dormitory.

Two dormitory buildings have been built, each accommodating 600 students. All rooms have comfortable conditions for students. It should be noted that this is the largest student dormitory in Petropavlovsk. The opening of this facility made it possible to completely close the issue of a shortage of places in dormitories; now there is a surplus of places.
