Inform everyone...

On October 6, Kazakhstan is expecting an important political event — a referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant (NPP).

The initiative to hold a nationwide vote, voiced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Nation Address, has found broad support among representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

At a meeting with teachers of secondary school No. 24 in Petropavl, member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, deputy of the Petropavl city maslikhat Salimkhan Sabitov noted that the referendum on the NPP is an opportunity for every Kazakhstani to make a choice in favor of a safe and sustainable future.

“Nuclear energy can provide us with clean and reliable energy, which is so necessary for the development of the country. For us, as representatives of the multinational people of Kazakhstan, it is important that every voice is heard. Therefore, we call on everyone to come to the referendum and express their opinion! Let's make a choice together — for the future of our children and the prosperity of the whole country!” — called on member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Salimkhan Sabitov.

After answering questions from the meeting participants, S. Sabitov congratulated everyone on Labor Day and presented letters of gratitude from the regional Assembly to the school staff.
