Today, a meeting on the development of the agro-industrial complex was held in the regional Akimat with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov and the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov. During the meeting, issues of the harvesting campaign, grain purchase and provision of state support to farmers were discussed.
This year, difficult weather conditions in the form of heavy rainfall became a real test for grain growers. Farmers applied a special approach and modern technologies for timely harvesting and maintaining the quality of grain. The state allocated cheaper diesel fuel and liquefied gas for drying grain.
To date, 93% of the area has been harvested in the region, 5.6 million tons of grain have been threshed. The average yield is 18 c/ha, in model farms it reaches 30 c/ha. These results were achieved due to compliance with agricultural technologies, application of mineral fertilizers, sowing of high-quality seeds and updating of agricultural machinery. The meeting was attended by heads of agricultural formations, district akims and farmers via intercom. Director of the Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanar Makhanova told them about the benefits of the state program "Ken-Dala-2", within the framework of which farmers can receive a preferential loan at 5% per annum for spring field work. Another advantage is that the farmer provides only 15% of the collateral amount, the remaining 85% is guaranteed by the Damu fund. The state offers farmers an excellent opportunity to conduct the 2025 sowing campaign.
