In villages of NKR, 150 km of power grids will be replaced annually

At a meeting of the regional akimat chaired by the akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov, the issue of ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the region was considered.

Today, the length of power grids in the region is 23.5 thousand km. The wear and tear of power grids in SK REC is 96%, in Kokshetau Energo - 80%.

In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the winter, major repairs and reconstruction of about 1.5 thousand km of power grids and 230 substations are being carried out by two energy transmission companies.

In order to reduce the wear and tear rate in the region, an Action Plan for the modernization of power grids has been developed, within the framework of which it is planned to annually modernize the rural power supply system by replacing 150 km of lines. 15 projects have been developed, which will cover 20 villages in 7 districts. The regional akim Gauez Nurmukhambetov noted the importance of readiness and availability of equipment, fuel and lubricants, and the staffing of emergency teams. In case of adverse weather conditions, access routes must be available for the purpose of promptly eliminating emergency situations. The head of the region instructed the akims of the districts and Petropavlovsk to keep the situation regarding emergency shutdowns under special control and, if they occur, to immediately take operational measures. It is also necessary to conduct an inspection of the backup electrical equipment at central boiler houses and medical organizations.
