Akim of NKR and US Ambassador discussed cooperation issues

North Kazakhstan was visited by US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Daniel Rosenblum and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Kazakhstan Yamada Jun. During the meeting, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and Daniel Rosenblum discussed cooperation issues and strengthening strategic partnership in all areas.

Trade relations between our region and the USA are developing fruitfully. Now the trade turnover has reached 5 million dollars. Mutually beneficial partnership has been established in the fields of agriculture, transport, communications and education. A successful example is the cooperation of a local university with the University of Arizona, now the work is aimed at increasing research potential.

Also today, the opening of the creative platform "Makerspace" took place in the Regional library named after S. Mukanov. All this work creates additional investment opportunities.
