Akim of NKR and the Minister of Transport discussed issues of road industry development

Today, the Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev visited our region. During the meeting, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and the Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev discussed issues of development of the road industry of the North Kazakhstan region.

During the Address, the Head of State focused on issues of improving the road infrastructure and instructed to increase the medium repair program to 10 thousand km. Together with the Ministry, a lot of work is to be done to determine the most significant sections of the region's roads for medium repair. Also under special control is the quality of the work performed and the responsibility of contractors.

"This year, 938 km of roads were covered by repair work in the region, of which the main share is medium repair. We will continue to strengthen our work in this direction," the head of the region said.
