In NKR, more than 7 thousand combines will go out to harvest

At a meeting of the Akimat of North Kazakhstan region, issues related to harvesting and forage preparation were discussed.

Over 60 billion tenge have been allocated for the development of agriculture this year. A third of all funds have been directed to the development of crop production. Since the beginning of the year, 41 billion tenge of investments have been attracted to the agricultural sector. All this allows farmers to apply the necessary technologies, apply mineral fertilizers and update equipment.

Today, 80% of grain crops are in good condition. This year, 49 thousand tons of elite seeds have been sown, the variety renewal rate was 10.1%.

254 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers have been applied. 7.3 thousand grain harvesters will be used in the harvest. The readiness of agricultural machinery is 100%. 59 thousand tons of subsidized diesel fuel have been allocated. The capacity of all 46 elevators and storage tanks of agricultural formations is 6.9 million tons. Today, all elevators of the region are ready.

In addition, 976 thousand tons of hay and 345 thousand tons of haylage have been prepared.

Following the meeting, the head of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov instructed the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations, together with the akims of the districts, to complete the harvesting campaign in the optimal agrotechnical terms, take control of the work of all elevators and the issue of providing fuel and lubricants and other materials.
