In NKR, results of region's development for 7 months were summed up

Under the leadership of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, a meeting of the Akimat was held, during which the results of socio-economic development for 7 months of the current year were considered.

During this period, the region's economy has been developing steadily, with growth observed in all key indicators. In agriculture, the volume of production amounted to 118 billion tenge, with an increase of 1%, in industry, products were produced for 378 billion tenge, with an increase of 3.7%. The portfolio of orders of mechanical engineering enterprises reached 239 billion tenge, with an increase of 2.9 times.

In January-July, 211 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the region. In construction, 102 thousand square meters of housing were introduced, an increase of 6.3%.

Following the meeting, the head of the region instructed the relevant departments, akims of districts and Petropavlovsk to ensure the fulfillment of monthly indicators for economic growth, take personal control of the implementation of investment projects, and also intensify work to find additional reserves for investment growth.
