Delegation of Chinese Meat Association visited NKR

Today, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with a delegation of the Chinese Meat Association led by the President of the Club of Meat Importers and Exporters Ma Guangsheng. Yesterday, a delegation from the neighboring country participated in the VII meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council.

This meeting took place under the auspices of developing bilateral cooperation with the People's Republic of China as part of reaching agreements between the Heads of our states at the SCO summit.

At the meeting, both parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation, the head of the region proposed implementing joint projects in the field of processing agricultural products. The Kazakh-Chinese project for the development of the agro-industrial cluster of the AIJU corporation is already being successfully implemented in the region - the Taiynsha-May oilseed processing plant has been launched. Construction of a mill and a Memolux feed mill is also underway.

The Chinese delegation also visited the meat processing plant EMC-Agro LLP and got acquainted with the project to expand the pig complex to 200 thousand heads and increase meat production to 20 thousand tons.

In general, it should be noted that the cooperation between North Korea and China is bearing fruit. In just 3 years, foreign trade turnover increased 2.2 times and amounted to 117 million US dollars.

Following the visit, both sides expressed confidence that business and friendly relations between North Kazakhstan and China will be long-term and productive.
