Overpass being built in Petropavl and 60 courtyards being renovated

Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov inspected the construction of a new road overpass across the railway tracks in the Workers' Village. The implementation of this project will allow redirecting traffic flow, relieving the existing overpass in the Workers' Village and, if necessary, carrying out its repairs without creating inconvenience for citizens.

5.3 billion tenge has been allocated from the budget for the construction of the bridge, of which 80% of the funds have already been allocated to the contractor. By the end of the year, the contractor must complete the construction of the bridge and access roads, end and intermediate supports, span structure, installation of a monolithic overlay slab and relocation of utilities. The installation of asphalt-concrete pavement remains for next year. The head of the region instructed the contractor and relevant departments to strictly follow the construction schedule and complete all work on time.

The akim of the region also inspected the progress of work on the arrangement of courtyard areas in Petropavl. In the regional center, out of 596 courtyards, 254 require updating.

“This year we plan to cover 60 courtyards with work. In each courtyard, multifunctional playgrounds for children and sports will be installed, asphalt paving and landscaping will also be carried out. Within 5 years we plan to cover all the courtyards that need updating,” the head of the region wrote on social networks.
