700 houses damaged during the flood being repaired in NKR

Work continues across the region to restore infrastructure, repair houses, and demolish housing damaged during the flood.

Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov in the villages of Kozhevennyi and Zarechnyi, in the Podgora microdistrict and in the village of Teplichnoye, Kyzylzhar district, checked the progress of repair work on houses and the demolition of emergency housing. These works are carried out by mechanical brigades who came to help from all areas. In total, over 600 people are involved.

220 houses were demolished. In the region, 1,972 houses need to be repaired, of which 700 houses are being repaired. The head of the region instructed the responsible managers and assigned deputy akims of the districts to carefully dry out and carry out high-quality repairs of houses.

The solution to the housing issue is under strict control. In the new microdistrict "Birlik" 100 families received new houses. Construction of 600 houses continues, which will be delivered according to the construction schedule. In the region, 450 apartments were purchased on the secondary market. This work is ongoing.
