In Petropavl, mechanical teams are repairing 18 houses

At the headquarters in Podgora, Akim of North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov held an operational meeting and heard a report from the responsible leaders and assigned deputy akims of the districts on liquidation of the consequences of the flood.

Now in Podgora and Kozhevennyi district mechanical teams are carrying out repairs in 18 houses. Water is also being pumped out from adjacent areas and basements, streets are cleaned and garbage is removed.

In Podgora and Kozhevennoye, water is pumped through dams. There are 79 high-performance pumps in operation, which pump out over 300 thousand cubic meters of water daily. This work will continue until the flooded neighborhoods are completely drained.

Also during the tour, the head of the region visited the village of Zarechnyi. Here the water level drops. Yesterday, mechanical brigades from 4 districts arrived and will begin restoration work and cleaning of streets and houses.
