Departure ceremony for military personnel and rescuers

Today, on the central square in Petropavl, a ceremony was held for the departure of military personnel, rescuers, doctors and helicopter crews who arrived from 8 regions and were involved in flood control measures.

The head of the region, Gauez Nurmukhambetov, thanked them for their military work and assistance in the fight against the water element and saving people’s lives. In total, during the flood period, an additional 1.7 thousand people arrived in North Kazakhstan from other regions.
