NKR received 2 thousand applications for one-time assistance from flood victims

First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar and Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov visited evacuation points in Petropavl, talked with flood victims, listened to questions and concerns.

Now the affected residents are primarily concerned with the issue of providing financial assistance. In evacuation centers there are mobile groups that provide explanations on how to receive assistance. The city akimat is accepting applications from victims on site. Government agencies help with the restoration of documents.

To date, the region has received 2 thousand applications from citizens to receive one-time assistance. 400 million tenge has already been sent to more than 1 thousand citizens. Applications are still being accepted. The commission will be able to assess compensation for damage to property only after the water has completely left the territory of the houses.
